FUEL THE FIRE

Albert Wiggan is a proud Bardi-Kija-Nyulnyul man, father, environmentalist, and cultural educator. His work reaches from TEDx stages to remote bush tracks, where he mentors young people, shares wisdom on Country, and teaches deep listening through cultural leadership.

We are raising funds to support Albert in purchasing a reliable vehicle to carry out this essential work. From Broome to Cygnet Bay, through saltwater and red dust, Albert’s presence is needed—on Country, in schools, at gatherings, and with community.

This work is part of the newly launched Albert Wiggan Institute (AWI) — the first Indigenous-led institute of its kind, grounded in cultural truth-telling, leadership training, and environmental stewardship.

All donations go directly towards:
● A reliable, 4x4, fuel-efficient vehicle
● Travel and maintenance costs
● Supporting his leadership with the Albert Wiggan Institute

Thank you for walking alongside.
Let’s fuel the fire.

Acknowledgment of Country – From Albert Wiggan

We stand on Country that has carried the footsteps, stories, and spirit of our old people for thousands of generations. We acknowledge the wisdom of our Elders—past, present, and emerging—who continue to guide us in caring for land, sea, and community.

This place is more than earth and water; it holds our ancestors’ voices and the knowledge that shapes our future. With respect and deep gratitude, we walk forward together, honoring culture, protecting Country, and strengthening the generations to come.
